Why Couple's Massage Class?

Couple's massage classes are a great way to connect through touch communication with your loved ones.

Anytime we share touch it allows us to feel better in our bodies. Touch sends 'feel good' chemicals to the
brain which assist in the body's self healing abilities and put us in a better mood.
Less pain and less stress can allow us to be more of ourselves which can elicit better communication and
better relationships.

What will we learn?

Combining basic massage and yoga techniques, classes will be focused on therapeutic interaction to
develop safe, non-sexual touch. Therapeutic touch can assist in relaxation and pain relief.
Techniques learned in classes are ideal for spouses, partners, grandparents or parents and children, or close friends.

Simple  15-20 minute routines will be formulated for each couple to focus on their specific needs.

Each class is unique to the couple attending. Please let me know what you would like to get most out of your class.
Detailed take home notes about techniques and specific focus areas can be prepared upon request prior to class.

Who can take classes?

Anyone looking to deepen a relationship or provide caring touch to a loved one is encouraged to take classes.
Partners, spouses, parents and children, even children and older parents or grandparents.

Do we need to prepare anything for the class?

An open heart and willingness to communicate is an essential component of the class.
Please prepare soft pillows and blankets on a floor space large enough to lie down in with walking room around.
Other materials will be provided.
